Sisters Care of San Antonio at 1946 La Manda Blvd, San Antonio, TX 78201 US - Thrift Shop Opens

On August 18th, 2003, Sisters Care of San Antonio and Visitation House, another Incarnate Word ministry serving women and children in transition, collaborated in a thrift shop joint venture. The shop is called “Thrifty Sisters” and is located at 830 West Mulberry. Volunteers from Visitation House and Sisters Care staff the shop. The inventory includes furniture, clothing, and kitchen items. Proceeds will benefit both ministries. Current hours of operation: Friday & Saturday only; 9:00 A.M – 3:00 P.M. You are invited to shop ‘till you drop! Please call (210) 733-9800 for donation arrangements. Donations are not accepted at the Thrift Shop.
